The Object of our Worship:
At The Waters, we worship God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Not only because of what He does in our lives, but for who He is.
The Purpose of Worship
The importance of worship goes beyond nice music and a good time. God, through His word, encourages us to praise and worship Him. We know that He alone is worthy to receive this praise from our hearts and our lips. In fact, there are passages in the Bible that suggest we should have exuberant worship for our Lord.
But, all of this has a purpose. We are declaring God’s reign in us, through us, and for us. When this happens, we have freedom, peace, and purpose and it’s a fresh reminder that God loves his children and we, his children, love him back with our true worship.
Freedom in Worship
At The Waters we encourage you to have an awesome time with the Lord without any distractions. Our praise is fun and dynamic, and our worship is an intimate and sweet moment. Our purpose for existing as a worship team is to accept you as you are, but we know that God wants to touch our hearts, so we don’t want to REMAIN as we are, but allow Him to mold us to His image.
