Church Family Thanksgiving

Sunday, November 20th let's meet at noon after worship service at La Cabana de El Sabro restaurant located at 170 Buffalo Place in Cibolo, TX.  This lunch will provide us an opportunity to collectively give thanks to our Lord for all He has accomplished within our church.  Join us for fun, fellowship and outstanding Mexican food!

Men's Hiking Trip to Enchanted Rock in Marble Falls, TX!

MEN: Enchanted Rock Hiking Trip departs Pastor Kelly's house at 730am on Saturday, November 19th.  This outdoor adventure will allow the men of The Waters to come together like never before!

When? Saturday, November 19th at 730am

Where? Departing Kelly and Dawn Craighead's home at 730am

What to bring?  Hiking shoes, a sack lunch, bottled water and a heart ready to hear the Lord's voice!

Weekly Men's Discipleship Group

MEN Part 2: Each Tuesday at 6:00am the men of The Waters will meet to share fellowship in a men's discipleship group lead by Pastor Kelly. We will be learning some of the basic tenets of Scripture in order to know Him better. This is a great opportunity to journey with other men in this incredible adventure Jesus has us on.  

When? Tuesdays @ 6:00 am

The Monday Alignment:

Every Monday morning we would like the church to be aligned in prayer.  This is different from the prayer list that goes out—this pertains specifically to today’s message and what is pressing for the church as a whole.  We are doing this because the Bible says . . .  “When a believing person prays, great things happen!”  James 5:16 (NCV)  Look inside the sermon notes for each week's Monday Alignment or check out our facebook page where we'll update them for you.

Have you wondered “how can I help my church” in recent weeks?  There are numerous ways to serve in quiet and subtle ways that are supportive.  Every week many hands are needed to complete the work of preparation and tasks to be done for the service to be offered.  For example, every week our hospitality group provides food gifts for Sunday morning worship time.  Men and women are needed to set up the entryway, children’s ministry areas, chairs, tables, adorn the tables, fold the worship programs and other ministry needs including a prayer group to lift those working to prepare for the worship hour.  If you have felt the call to answer please respond to this announcement email and we will help find a place for you to serve.

 "Our" Cambodian Kids

The Waters has "adopted" 4 chidren in Cambodia through the organization 'Asia's Hope.' They live in a group home with Christian house-parents. They are given the opportunity to go to school and to learn of Christ's love for them. Follow this link to find out about "our" kids and their cottage.
