 Dawn and Kelly

Kelly Craighead, Pastor and wife Dawn, hYdrate Youth Group Director

Born and raised in San Antonio, these two were high school friends and college sweethearts. They both accepted Christ as their personal Savior around the
beginning of their college careers. Dawn graduated from Texas State (SWT) and Kelly from Texas A&M. They married in 1993, began their family in 1996 and
now have 3 children. As a family, they enjoy anything outdoors, including camping, swimming and geocaching, as well as playing their Wii.  Kelly served as a pastor at Grace Community Church in Universal City for 8 years. When God decided to start a new church in Cibolo, He tapped Kelly on the shoulder and placed the dream in his heart. Dawn immediately said, "Yes! That feels right!" and with the blessings of
his fellow pastors from Grace, Kelly began making plans for the launch of The Waters.  Dawn is a Kindergarten teacher at Green Valley Elementary in Schertz.

Charlie Jakubisin, Worship Leader and wife Nubia

Charlie & Nubia Jakubisin moved from Mexico City to SA in '97 after marrying. They ministered for 9 years at an area church, until they felt called to the Schertz/Cibolo area. A couple of months after moving, they heard from a friend that The Waters was looking for a worship leader. Convinced that God guides our lives for a reason, Charlie took up the role and ran with it.
Charlie is a graphic designer who owns his own business and Nubia is a full-time mommy who helps a
bit with the business. She has a strong passion for worship as well although her gifting is more with the kids... She LOVES kids. They both enjoy going to
the park with their son and daughter, playing the Wii and just watching a good movie together.

Katie Miler, Splash Zone (Children's Ministry) Director and husband Josh

Katie Miler is our Splash Zone director. She has been working with children for the past nine years both in
the U.S. and various other countries. In 2003, Katie completed her Bachelors of Science in Child Development and Family Relations and is currently working on her Masters in Child and Family Studies. Katie has worked as a children’s director in multiple churches and spent much of her time training and equipping volunteers to become great teachers! She is a volunteer consultant and trainer for Future generations Ministries in Egypt and has had the unique opportunity to do mission work in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Katie has been married to her college sweetheart for the past 8 years. They have one son,
Reagan, who is two years old.

Rob Heyen, Business Manager and wife Ashley, Administrator

Rob and Ashley Heyen married in in 1996 and have two boys. Rob graduated with a degree in Math from University of Nebraska and Ashley from Texas State (SWT) with a degree in Communications.
It was while Ashley was in school that she met and befriended Dawn.

Years later, on their very first visit to Grace, Dawn and Ashley reconnected. Dawn invited them to attend a
small group meeting to plan the new church and they've been part of The Waters ever since. Rob serves as an actuary with USAA in addition to his duties at The
Waters. Ashley is a Lt. Colonel in the USAF Reserves (Active Duty) at Randolph Air Force Base. They enjoy boating and skiing in their free time.
